Brahmas of Tamil cinema.....
Following director are those brahmas who create various kind of scripts and stories.I ordered them 1 to 20 and they..... 1. Mani Ratnam There is no need to elaborate much on the popularity that Mani Ratnam and his films. he is a brand of cinema on his own. Looking at all the films that he has done till date and the kind of multi-starrer that he is set to offer us (Raavan) and the special music that he continues to elicit out of Rahman every time, there is little doubt as to whether he belongs at the top order of film makers in Tamil cinema, perhaps Indian cinema. Yes he is the top most director in Tamil cinema also INDIAN CINEMA.His movies are mostly portrays a single mans contribution or struggle towards society and politics...... Man of simplicity and perfection... 2. Shankar The king of grandeur, there is no better way to describe this man. He does not seem to know the meaning of the word ‘small’, each film of his just keeps getting bigger in terms of scale, budget and sheer viewing experience on screen. He is a director who keeps stretching the horizons of Tamil cinema in terms of scale and technical enhancements. With Endhiran, the most expensive Indian movie ever, just round the corner, he shows no signs of slowing down. He is like a spielberg of tamil cinema who's going to bring unusal and sci fi movie enthiran. The ANIMATRONICS TECHNOLOGHY will have its first footage in india through this film.... And also he is the one who introduced TIME SLICE MOTION PICTURING in indian cinema..... 3. Bala Exploring uncharted territory, challenging the very fundamental beliefs of conventional and commercial Tamil cinema, never compromising on the impact that he wants to create on screen, Bala is the kind of director who keeps infusing new thematic possibilities into an industry that has to find appealing ideas for existence. With his intentions of a breezy entertainer already announced, it is time for us to find out a new facet of this filmmaker The mindblowing thinker... No one can plot a storyline as he thinks.. The abnormal charecters which appears in his film are those who are normally appears before everyone eyes in day to day life... The graph of every hero after in his directorial shows drastic changes... 4. Gautham Vasudev Menon He is a director who seems to have immense belief in his kind of film making, the cool and urban kind. He has had his detractors who have made no effort to hide their disgust of the amount of English used in his films, but Gautham Menon remains unshaken and gives out neat entertainers liked by the youth and the urban audience. He delivers entertainment, excitement and the best part is that he never tries to do it at the expense of a sensible script or logic, which makes him special. Also, one of the select few directors who seem to be able to bring out the best music from a composer. He is man of classy... in his film making though it doesnt suits every audience watching the movie he is one of the best.Though he is cuntered by having lot of english dialogues and inspiration like bone collector and forest gump.. his style and making speaks more... 5. A.R.Murugadoss It has to be that it has been nearly 5 years since he delivered a movie in Tamil. Yes, he has been busy in Telugu and Hindi. But, after a path breaking entertainer like Ghajini, everyone wanted to see more from this director. In all the films he has made, he has shown a knack of maintaining a pace that never lets you off the hook, of crating characters that the audiences are able to connect and sympathize with – the signs of a skilled film maker. And, at last we have news of a proposed project in Tamil with Suriya. No one can find a single fault in his movie. His script and screen play are very well packed and portrayed in very neat manner... This order is according to me and interest may vary..... I have more things to say so friends try to avoid critisicing.... Source Behindwoods |
