It is my humble observation that while Rajini and Vijay get a lot of ridicule - subtle and not so subtle - in these parts, Ajith and Kamal fare better simply because they are popular here.

Even in the world outside where Rajini and Vijay has more fans than their counterpart, still they get a lot of ridicule Basically it is not abt having more fans or so. It is abt the ones ridicues think they are superior over the other... This attitude is with everyone. Rajini and Vijay fans would be mocking at lesser fan actors like Vishal, prashant, simbu etc. Basically no one is perfect
