Rahul’s visit, Vijay’s silence!

September 09, 2009

Looks like Rahul Gandhi’s Tamil Nadu visit has evinced as much interest among politicians as it had on Vijay’s meeting with the Congress General Secretary a while ago in Delhi. Although it was widely speculated that Vijay would join the Congress party, no confirmed news was made available after the meeting.

Rahul is now touring Tamil Nadu and is expected to attend a conference in Coimbatore today addressing his party members. Congress sources aver that Vijay will join the party officially tomorrow in Coimbatore on the occasion. However, no official announcement is available from the Vijay stable as yet in this regard.

Has Ilayathalapathy Vijay given up his dream of joining politics via the Congress?

After his high profile meeting with Congress General Secretary and youth icon Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi, he was expected to join Congress during Rahul’s whirlwind Tamil Nadu tour, which ended yesterday. Vijay failed to turn up to greet or meet the youth leader and kept a studious silence.

The grapevine is abuzz that Vijay and his father was given a dressing down by a powerful leader from Tamil Nadu and asked to make up his choice whether to continue acting in films or join politics.

An arch constructed by the actor at his Shobha Kalyana Mandapam in Saligramam was also pulled down by the authorities as “it was obstructing traffic”!

Sources close to Vijay say that he is keeping a diplomatic silence as he is very keen that his Vettaikaran releases for Diwali. It looks like till the film is released he will keep a low profile.

07-Sept-09 was the last day of "Onam Mega Show"it was conducted in Chnadrasekar Nair Stadium Trivandrum.Total a number of 15 songs were sung nd Dances 5 of the songs were vijay songs before the 1st song the anchor asked audience which actor have most number of fans units in trivandrum execpt mallu stars the audience wer cheering Vijay ..Nd Suryas Names aftr that the anchor itself said yeahh itz none other than the "Tamil Super Star Ilayathalapathy Vijay"and he said that the next song is dedicated to all Vijay fans wen he said that the crowd went crazy whole crowd were clapping nd whistled for that there were nearly 500 people in that stadium At the end of evry songs the crowd cheerd Jai for Our Ilayathalapathy i recorded that here is the link for that

Not only in this occasion this is seen in evry theater if any vijay related scene comes in the movie which is playing there or if any vijay song is played in the theater this ill be the situation

Vijay,Vikram,surya to act for Alma mater

Several alumni of the prestigious Loyola College (Chennai) have teamed up to pay a tribute to their beloved institution. The college, which has been serving as a second home for many young people over the years, has inspired this set of graduates to repay its love and support. These passed-out students are coming up with a musical album based on this college. The album would sing highly about this famous college of Chennai and would be set in the backdrop of the institution. Among Loyola’s famous alumni, actors Vikram, Suriya and Vijay, who had spent their study-days here, would be also featured in this one! The music would be composed by Vijay Antony.
