jOrA paNNalame poll. Unintentionally funny actors - Sivakumar tops the list.
Shanmughasundaram is a weak candidate in that he is of the AVM Rajan school of overacting more than anything else. Enough examples have been quoted here - KaNNA unai thEdugirEn quoted my mrsrajan is a prime example. Basically, I have recorded in my mind his rendition of "sangeetha mEdaiya sAkkadaiyakka pArkarEngaLA?". That remains his template for any dialogue delivery - a enigmatic smile added if it is a fun expression, and the standard constipated expression if it is a serious dialogue. PR, I am not the expert on Sivakumar, though. It's ages since I saw a tamil movie, even on TV much less 80's or sivakumar movies. Right now, ellaam memory-lerundhu dhaan pesiNdurukkEn. Infact, I am in a pathetic state, even the IR songs I quote are from my memory rather than manifestation in physical media. Bleddy Mumbai life... |

Agree with you there, except these ones.
In navarathiri movie-after a gap savithri and sivaji will meet.again no dialog for few minutes.you can imagine how expressive it could be Also in that movie, one of roles played by sivaji as a village man ,always bends his back to show that he is vey humble. |

Hilarious thread and, in my humble opinion, this is an unending ocean. I've sat through several, several movies on television just for the devious pleasure of watching incompetent actors and/or outrageous scenes.
jaishankar- in mounam sammandham movie, after he was released from jail, he smiles continueosly (ulimate expression to show happiness) |

My dinner time coincides with Arasi on Sun TV. Sivachandran's hilarious acting dares anyone to partake of meals without choking. In the interest of public health they decided to bump the character off a few months back. His histrionic equal, singer Anuradha Krishnamoorthy, is proving to be a tough contender now.
