Gounds mela appadi yenna gaandu
gaandu irukka avar onnum periya idhu illa....

I have always maintained that Gounds and Senthil dragged down Tamil cinema to despicable levels. And today we celebrate deepavali due to his departure from Tamil cinema.

Kola Kolaya Mundhirika is a Tamil language film under production in Chennai, India. It is a rip-roaring comedy written by legendary writer Crazy Mohan, and directed by Madhumita.

The film stars Karthik Kumar and Bhavna Rao in lead roles with a supporting cast of some of south India's finest and most popular comic actors. Anand Raj will be seen in a stellar comic villain role.

V. Selvaganesh, son of Ghatam maestro Vikku Vinayakram is the music director of the film, L.K. Vijay is the cinematographer, Vijay Venkataramanan is the Editor, Technical Director, and Casting Director, and Srinivasan P is the Executive Producer.

The film is produced by Trisakti Sundar Raman and Nalini Sundar Raman of Giriguja Films International Private limited.

The presence of a faculty implies the existence of conditions that permit the exercise of the faculty - SarvappaLLi Radhakrishnan (Indian Philosopher and Former President).

Despite all evidence to the contrary, I strongly believe NOV has a good taste for humour. So there should exists an alternate universe where he will be able to put his tastes to its ultimate use.

Those who believe that the existence of human spiritual craving implies the existence of God, kindly pray for the above.

Now...on to KKM.

I am fine with my views dear PR, for wasnt it George B Shaw who said, "New opinions often appear first as jokes and fancies, then as blasphemies and treason, then as questions open to discussion, and finally as established truths.” So, there is indeed hope for you.

Anyway, your life is very serious PR, and some departure from all these, albeit silly stuff, would probably serve some purpose.

When one fine day, PR has had enough of these silliness and begins to find the silliness irritating, he will be a champion of NOVelty.
After all, a rattlesnake loose in the living room tends to end all discussion of animal rights. :P

After getting rave reviews for her debut film “Vallamai Thaaraayo”, director Madhumita is very happy that her film is creating a big impact on the festival circuit.

“I am happy that my film has been received well in some well-known international film festivals such as Asian Film Festival, Singapore and International Indian Women’s Film Festival, Delhi (where it was the only Tamil film selected to be shown). It has also been selected for screening at the prestigious Newport Beach Film festival, Los Angeles, where it will be shown on April 23. This festival is one of the best film festivals in the U.S. It will be attended by the who’s who of Hollywood and the swish set of Los Angeles. We have been invited and I will be attending it,” gushes the director.

Her next film is a comedy titled “Kola Kolaya Mundhirika” written by Crazy Mohan.

Bhavana Rao in Kola Kolaya Munthirikka

Kollywood industry is said to be the India’s third largest film industry which is has equal amounts of investments and get backs. The Chennai film industry is always buzzing with new entries in various departments such as acting, directing, producing and much more.

Now a new entrant is ready to entertain the Tamil crowds. It is none other than Bhavana Rao who is a Kannada girl and had a stint in the Kannada film industry. She made her mark in Sandalwood with Gallipatta and is about to show her skills to the Tamil crowds.

The young beauty will be playing the female lead in the film titled “Kola Kolaya Munthirikka”. The movie is a comedy based flick and will have young hero Karthick in the lead. Karthik proved his acting talent when he was featured as a second hero in the movie “Yaaradi Nee Mohini” opposite to Nayantara.

Bhavana disclosed that she is open to the sandalwood film industry still and would like to take up only meaty roles in Kollywood.

The movie “Kola Kolaya Munthirikka” will hit the floors in June this year and will be released by November 2009.
