i've seen a lot of people giving out free information here at Naijafinder.com and it's a really great thing to see so i thought i'd share my method for niche websites. i am going to show you how i build my websites form scratch. in this post you will learn the following:
1. keyword & domain research 2. wordpress configuration (no, not how to install wordpress) 3. content 4. monetization 5. http://www.marvindyck.com/wiringfact...%20wiring.html his website was only registered in 2010 and this page isn't even one of his popular ones. i used http://who.is for this search. i then threw the exact url into http://majesticseo.com site explorer. it is a paid service although i just take a peak at the number of links it shows which is perfectly free. he only has 2 unique domains linking to this page ... score! now i am positive i can hit the first page. the next struggle is finding a domain name. for quick results i use http://instantdomainsearch.com hey look, the .org emd is available. got lucky there! ------------------------ now we have to install wordpress and blah blah blah ... go on youtube if you can't install wordpress. delete all of the default content (post, page, links) install these two plugins: all in one seo pack google xml sitemaps in my opinion that's all you need. you have your onsite seo and your sitemap. some people have ten plus plugins and that's fine but i keep is simple and straight to the point. find a high ctr theme, i recommend heatmap or something. do a google search for "ctr wordpress themes" and find something you like. ------------------------ let's add some content. write an article about "ceiling fan wiring" around 500 words. kind of a stupid subject to write about but just bs the article and throw the keyword in it 2 or 3 times. now, find a couple more keywords. we're only going to add three articles for now and you can keep adding more content as you go along. i found: "ceiling fan wiring diagram" "wiring a ceiling fan with light" write about those, pretty easy just find another post with instructions and you're done! make sure to add a picture to each article and try finding a youtube video as well. this helps a lot. ------------------------ monetization is the next most important part. you can be raking in 10,000 visitors per day and not earn a penny since you do not have ads or are selling products online. my favorite money makers are: 1. google adsense 2. clickbank 3. amazon most of you could have guessed my list considering this is what everyone uses and for a very good reason, they work! i like to incorporate clickbank into my keyword research to directly market that product, but we'll talk about this in another tutorial. i use adsense with almost everything, unless i am trying to promote a big sale. if a sale is worth $50 to me then why would i direct someone away from my sales page to earn a measly buck? do you see people with google adwords on their salepages for software or ebooks? you need to decide what is the best way to monetize your website. lastly, amazon. i usually either use clickbank by itself or combine adsense and amazon. amazon obviously is used for websites about a certain type of product. i haven't found anything directly related to ceiling fan wiring on amazon but you can still market ceiling fans and who knows you might sell a bunch! i believe that adsense will be the big money maker on this website though. so put your ads on your website and let the website sit. ------------------------ check back within a week and see if you've been crawled. i don't recommend linking and pinging just because it's not natural. let google find your website and go from there. ------------------------ seo the moment you've all been waiting for. how to rank these little bastards! i've devised a chart to show exactly what i do with my websites. week 1: let google find your website week 2: build as many high pr bookmarks as possible. (alternatives: ultimate demon, se nuke x, fiverr) week 3: - build 20 web 2.0s and put a general post on them with no link (alternatives: ultimate demon, se nuke x, fiverr) - write & spin an article and submit to as many directories as possible (alternatives: ultimate demon, se nuke x, fiverr) week 4: write a review on your website and spin it 20 times and post on web 2.0s, with your link at the bottom. diversify your hyperlinks. example, {ceiling fan wiring|how to wire a ceiling fan|click here|http://ceilingfanwiring.com} make it look natural! google will catch on if you use the same hyperlink on each post. week 5: write another article and spin it and link it to the web 2.0s this time and submit everything. submit them to link directories and bookmark them as well. you want these properties to be strong links. paid options if you have the cash then my best suggestion for you is to get a private blog network blast from aged high page rank websites. i have never seen results like these. everything else you can do yourself and save money! at the very most, pick up software to do your own seo work. but the blog network is highly recommended! post any questions/comments/additions in the thread, thanks for reading! |

great share... thanks and +10 rep given.
it's easy to share other people's work - taking the time to write up how you do it takes even longer. thanks. micro niche marketing is something i am looking into. i feel that the money can be decent but i'm not sure how much time i should truly expect it to consume. if it is a lot of time, it may be better for me to stick with email marketing but i also like the idea of making money and now having to send emails. i found a four-word phrase that has 708k exact results and the .com is also available. i currently own a .co url that redirects traffic to one of the sites i would feature on my niche site. i make $50/month on it. it's not much, but i do not have to do anything. an example would be me targeting "how to make bread" and buying howtomakebread.com and setting up the niche site. currently, i own bread.co and when people type it my mistake (leaving off the 'm'), i get a commission if they buy something. what do you think, are those pretty good stats? |
