If I'm not mistaken, the Paralympics are still going strong in London. Our very own Jaqueline Freney has won six golds in the swimming and Austalia is fifth in the medals table. Well worth watching. Truly inspiring.

Being in London for the games has been a privilege. London has been buzzing and even the miserable lot who moaned about it beforehand really got into it. Transport went surprisingly well, the Brits were actually sociable for a change and the place was heaving yesterday for the marathon. Literally millions on the streets and the atmosphere was great.

Shame the closing ceremony wasn't up to much but seeing The Who at the end was pretty special. Great band even if they were well before my time.

Surely the joys of entrepreneurship allow for the watching of the games with a laptop at hand?

Best thing to happen to us Brits for several decades. Very proud that we managed to pull it off so well. Shame cricket isn't an Olympic sport as we'd have probably pulled a few golds in that as well. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/tongue_t.png
