The Chainsaw scene in Scarface was pretty intense too!

Any funny scene in a movie or even a tear jerker scene. I don't like action scenes though. Just not my type.

Default Favourite Movie Scene
Seeing as the 'English Film' thread has lost its way a little, I thought I'd throw up this one instead.

What's your favourite movie scene ever? Throw up a YT link so we can all see it.

Here's mine. Two acting greats in one of the best face-to-face scenes ever in a highly underrated film (True Romance - an awesome cast in this). Hopper obviously realises he's going to die to protect his son and gives Christopher Walken a final volley. Apologies in advance for the language but it really is a great scene.

It has to be this for me:

It's an awesome film anyway but the camera work is sublime here. From the street all the way to the table with minor characters being introduced all the way. Absolute genius. It's not full of action or excitement but it's beautifully done.

Some great scenes in Scarface throughout. Absolutely compelling film that does the gangster genre in a completely different way (are there any other films about Cuban gangsters?).

I really love “Seven Pounds”. I remember that was a movie where I couldn’t stop crying when I was watching it. Especially I like the opening scene which is a conversation between Ezra and Will smith.

My favourite scene was near the end of Scarface, when Tony Montana went on a final rampage before he was finally gunned down. Source of the famous "Say hello to my little friend!" line.

Can't seem to find it in youtube though, a lot of it has been removed.

Good call, OTFM. Great movie. Joe Pesci is unbelievably good in it.

Another favourite of mine linked below:

Top film, great ending and superb cast. Also starred Pete Postlethwaite, who sadly died last year. A truly great British actor.

I don't know about other movies about Cuban gansters but American Gangster is worth a watch.
