The students are enrolled in a Communications degree, and majoring in Advertising.
Yes we run the program both semesters, so by all means if you are a b2c type business (or a not for profit) we may be able to include you in the Second Semester (starts in May). Please email me with your details if this suits. Regards Jacki |

I'm in a similar boat... I have a unique little website that's about to launch towards the end of March. Which means i do not fit within your criteria. However, my question is will you be doing the same thing next semester? I'm also a current uni student, studying business & commerce at Monash Uni. I also work full-time for a bank as a Treasury Analyst. It'll be good to have a fresh set of eyes! That is if the offer still stands at the second half of the year.
Good luck with the search! |

Hi all,
I'm looking for ten businesses that are interested in getting free advertising strategy advice from teams of University Students, no strings attached. To date we've worked with quite a range of businesses, from fashion to scrapbooking, personal training to accounting. It’s win-win – the students are motivated as they get to work with real businesses, and the businesses get a fresh set of eyes looking at their site, as well as an unbiased analysis and lots of new ideas. The semester runs from 01 March - 17 May 2010. Time required? It's usually one face-to-face visit (they can come to you) or a Skype call, answering a couple of emails, and filling in a short online feedback survey at the end. You have to be prepared to discuss the business with the students - who you are targeting, what you have tried, ideas, where you might want to take the business. This service is free and you are not required to provide a budget or implement any of the students' suggestions. In return, the students will research the market, trends, the competitors, analyse the current positioning of the site etc, and provide recommendations through a written report, along with a creative strategy, and media suggestions. Students work with a fictitious media budget of $5K. Please email me as soon as possible at j.krahmalov@uws.edu.au (University of Western Sydney) if you are interested. Cheers Jacki |
