I have advertised using banner ads but on a whole another context, have you heard of the "Million Dollar Homepage", remember the website that sold pixels on the 1000X1000 grid. I actually bought an advertisement there made a banner for my website and posted it on there. Since the popularity of the site had increased amazingly my unique visitors had jumped to about 30 to 50 visitors more per hour. That was great for me since it was a reasonablly small website. I recommend you should do the same since pixel advertising is really cheap and effective and you only have to pay a one time fee. I recommend, Virtual Billboard Advertising, It is a new website launched and it is a new and fresh idea to advertise using images and links in real world images. 20 Dollar Banners where recommended on here some time ago. I've got to put my hands up and say I haven't used them myself yet but for that price, it has to be worth a punt. I'm going to need a few odds and sods over the next couple of weeks so I promise to let you know if they're any good. I don't get involved in the advertising thing on here (I'm only a lowly moderator) but if any of the other services plugged on here are anything to go by (such as the eBooks and business registration service, both of which meet my approval), I'm sure it'll be money well spent.

i note they also say the mob advertising recently on Aussie Tycoon are very good.

Hey guys, I'm just delving into banner ads (as well as affiliate site - as a merchant) for advertising my home business.

If you've used them, could you let me know your experiences with them or any tips. The prices really vary which is cool if you get the return. Just feeling my way around it and would love to hear others opinions.
