Want an Ad up on Aussie Tycoon site straight away?

- Check out our Paid Advertising Options (New!)

Whats this all about?

As part of our recognition to our members and making sure everyone gets the best from this forum, we have implemented an advertising network that allows all our members to advertise their business across these forums for free!

But why would I want to advertise on AussieTycoon?
As you may know, AussieTycoon (AT) is a forum with members from all over that have a vested interest in business and entrepreneurship. We are all looking to succeed in business and help other succeed, so what better way than helping each other out but to trade services with like minded people!

But its not just about the networking, AT is becoming one of the fastest growing Entrepreneur forums in Australia and is already indexed and ranked very highly within Google rankings for some great keywords as well as most of the other major search engines, we are constantly improving our search engine ranks and advertising strategies to get the best results for our forum and our members.

Check out some of our Google Rankings
#1 Entrepreneur Forum - http://www.google.com.au/search?q=en...A&ved=0CA4QpwU
#2 Australian Entrepreneur - http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q=australian+entrepreneurs
#5 Entrepreneur - http://www.google.com.au/search?q=entrepreneur

High rankings for us in search engines mean high ranking for our advertisers!

Aussie Tycoon also received around 200-300 hits PER DAY, which means that is 200-300 more people seeing your business in this forum and this traffic is constantly growing with a 5-10% increase each month.

Mass Media Recognition

Sydney Morning Herald, and The AGE in Melbourne have been talking about us..

Article in SMH - http://www.smh.com.au/small-business...0528-wiq0.html
Article in the Age - http://www.theage.com.au/small-business/smallbiz-tech/from-social-media-to-real-deal-20100528-wiq0.html

Not only are we getting great traffic, we are also widely recognised as a leading resource in Australia - so you are with good company.

How can I put an Ad up for Free?

Yep, that's right.. free! Basically what you need to do is earn Ad Credits on the forum, then you pay us with those Ad Credits in exchange for advertising space.. simple!

Are there any limitations on the type of business you can advertise, or is it totally free-for-all?

It is at the decision of our team, ideally it is suited to SME's and websites owners. We will not accept any affiliate or external advertising cpc type links, nor anything we deem unsuitable, such as porn or anything illegal or unsuitable to minors.

We just want to advertise good, honest businesses!

Aha, well that rules one of our projects out

You do need to be a bit more specific when you're offering free advertising space y'know ... might want to edit the original post to reflect this. Looks like I won't be using any of those ad credits here!

This is a really great initiative. Everyone visiting this forum obviously has some entrepreneurial aspirations, skills and knowledge to share. I hope we all embrace this forum as an opportunity to help each other prosper. I know I will be.

First of all, this is great idea. Win-win arrangement deal.

But one must consider its effectiveness (ie. how do you measure the return on investment?). I'm seeing the trend that online ads, banners are getting less and less effective as people have all sorts of ad blocking software on their machines, especially for Firefox user like myself - having an Adblock Add On installed, i don't see any ads whatsoever on any websites on the internet. Yes, the adblock is getting smarter and smarter guys. We really need to think ahead and look for a new way to get real value from marketing cost.

We have had some pretty good feedback from our members who have taken advantage of using the free links.

I have even heard of a few people who have made some sales from it, so thats really rewarding to know.

I suppose you know that the services that are advertises, the business is actually a member of the forum.. maybe we could put the member name under the ad as well.. what do you think about that?

I think you may already have enough to get the ball rolling!
