I'd like to go on record that I'm rooting for Jr. and then the entire team of Michael Waltrip Racing.
Yeah, I know, Toyotas.

It's hard not to be a fan of Waltrip. Any day that he wins, is a good day.

I think the day will belong to Earnhart though. In fact, from here on out I think he's gonna be my driver. I've been looking for a new driver to follow since Rudd left the 28, and even though JR. has some gay teammates, he's about as close to 'old school' that you will find in a younger driver.

He's my guy too. DJ's only running 6 races.

I've got him in a $5 fourway bet, double if you win the race,
and my gordon fan buddy got to mouthing off that jr's no driver and is living on his daddy's reputation, so I've now got him individually for $5 a race. He's also in the 4 way bet.
E
Gordon
Johnson
Stewart

Should be pretty competitive.

Is this where I should mention how you told me how MUCH you liked Gordon to me on the phone?

You bastard.

Some of the best driving I've ever seen was on thursday when Waltrip dropped back and pushed Jarrett to the front. It was amazing from both of them. They were switching lanes and crowding in line like people during the rush hour on I70 in St. Louis.

Now if only NASCAR would get rid of the chase, stop spanking drivers for getting mad at each other and God forbid someone says a bad word. Put the rules back to where they were stop the corporate sell out B.S. by saying that Gordon is a 4 time Sprint Cup Champ or that Jimmie Johnson is the 2 time defending Sprint Cup Champ, he may be the 2 time defending series champ but it was teh Nextel Cup then and Gordon won Winston Cups before RJR was squeezed out of racing by the federal government.

P.S. As much as I liked Darryl Waltrip as a driver get him and his boogity boogity out of the booth... please!

It mattered quite a bit thursday, emoticon boy.

Getting in the 500 is huge. Last place earnings are a guaranteed $233,865.

When did you turn into JRoll?

I had planned on rooting for Little E the day his dad retired, since I was a huge Sr fan.

Unfortunately his untimely death caused me to root for Jr just that much faster.

It'll be interesting to see how his season goes with his new team.

Gordon and Johnson are seemingly always in the running, so it would be nice to see Jr getting some W's this year.

I was wondering the same thing. My TV says the Pre-race ended and "NASCAR Racing" started at 2:00 est.

Back to Navy Seals for now.
