Default My Hire Car
Hired a car for a couple of weeks while I drove the inlaws all round Britain. I could only specify what size car I got and they give you what's available so I ended up with a Skoda Roomster. It looks good from the front but is fucking hideous from any other angle, looks like someone's done a cut and shut with the front of a BMW and the back of a people carrier! It also is a peice of shit to drive, so many blind spots and it felt like driving a transit van or something. Hiring a car tomorrow for a couple of days so hoping I get something better. Anyway, here it is......

Looking good from the front......

......but then......disaster!

It looks like it can't decide if it wants to be a car or a minivan.

My parents had a 1950s era Skoda when I was little.
It was uglier than any other car on the block.
Good luck on your next car Peter.

Reminds me of a Honda Element...doesn't know if it wants to be a breadbox, a short bus, an SUV, or a car.

Got a Kia Ceed this time. Alright, it's only a Kia but it's fucking lovely compared to that Skoda monstrosity! It's got 6 gears as well.

That Kia looks pretty nice, especially compared to that box-butted thing you had before.

I never liked those cars till I started driving one at work. You would be surprised at the leg room in the front and back seats. Someone 6' could ride comfortable in the back of that thing.

Those are also really nice. I'm thinking about getting into a small suv again. I'm missing my Jeep Liberty.

Yeah, a co-worker of mine says the same thing. I just thing they're horrendously ugly. The Nissan Cube is the only thing uglier.

That Kia definitely looks a lot nicer than the Skoda split personality car

I hired a 'medium sized' car too to drive guests from Gatwick up north and ended up with a Vauxhall Insignia. 6 gears too.

It was the first car I'd ever seen with an electronic switch for a handbrake.
