Default Favourite livery in 2010
With colours on the starting grid changing so much for 2010 with the changes of ownerships and sponsors, also with the addition of new teams, I think it's worth to ask, which livery is the most likable/lovable one for our forum members. Someone may add a poll.

1. Ferrari

Are there any others?

Seriously though, the racing green and yellow Lotus is good as the Renault. I've always liked the Force India because it stands out with it's orange and green.

Williams and Sauber (in BMW colours) are rather boring as is the Mercedes. It doesn't look silver, more like undercoat grey. The Torro Rosso and Red Bull are messy as is the Virgin.

I hate McLaren no matter what colour they paint their cars so the less said there the better.

The Hispania (I can't call them HRT because I think of the Holden Racing Team) looks like an interim livery so we'll have to wait and see. Yellow and red are the obvious colours but I guess any title sponsor will have a say.

After re-reading all that it's obvious I'm getting rather grumpy in my old age!

Mercedes - I like the fact that the black bits on nose and the "Petronas" text on the side pod
are carbon fibre and not black paint.

Ferrari- If only the white bits were black.

Hispania, Renault - Unfinished.

Force India, Red Bull - Solid but... Meah.

McLaren- shiny!

For me the joint leaders are Lotus, Renault and Red Bull. Virgin, Force India and also Mercedes are quite interesting as well.

I certainly hope so, more so for Sauber though.

anyway, I've always loved Mclaren's livery, so i say that's my favourite, but I know i'm biased. the superb silver just does it for me.

as for the rest this year, much better than 2009. Lotus with british racing green I love, and the Virgin livery is superbly cool, as is often the case with the Virgin brand.

Renault's livery has improved, Williams is nothing special but is OK as always, much like Force India.

Toro Rosso and Red Bull are too similar for me to like either, but i dont hate them.

Mercedes is pretty disappointing, but Macca always had the true silver to their own.

and so I come to Ferrari. My nemesis of F1. but every fan needs a nemesis! despite my wish for Ferrari to not win, I must admit my admiration of the Ferrari red (and their grand history to be honest). but i still want to see that superb red as far back as possible!

I haven't really like Ferrari (livery) since '95 or so. The red is wrong.

McLaren have been $ex on wheels since the chromed up.

Lotus - BRG has never looked so good.

The looser? HRT, Sauber, Mercedes.

Williams, Force India and Red Bull aren't offensive but as has already been mantioned are a bit......Meh.

Virgin, McLaren then Lotus. The others I'm fairly indifferent about.

1 Virgin- I like dark liveries and this one simply looks stealth
2 Lotus - the dark green and yellow is sublime
3 McLaren - classic silver and vodafone red, + my bias
4 Red Bull - nice dark livery, nice colors
5 Mercedes - looks sleek albeit a bit boring, but unlike others, love the teal
6 Ferrari- its' iconic, would be higher but too much white for my taste
7 Renault - its different and i respect that
8 Force India - a nice white livery although I would have liked some more gold
9 Williams - boring but not horrible
10 Toro Rosso - would be higher, except it looks like the RBR and i hoped they would have gone dramatically different, hence my disappointment
11 Hispania - Nice dark gray, maybe will change or "liven up" soon
12 Sauber - boring, white, plain and simple

For me the "backmarker" is likely to be Ferrari. Too much white, which doesn't leave any impression of a Ferrari spirit at all. I fail to see anything iconic about them.

Mid 70's Ferrari's always had a bit of white.

I'm ok with the Ferrari livery, I just don't like the Santander logo.

My list would be:

1. Renault
2. Lotus
3. Williams
4. Ferrari
5. McLaren
6. Force India
7. Red Bull
8. Virgin
9. Mercedes
10.Toro Rosso
11.Sauber
12.HRT

Can't say much about the last two. I expect certain changes, at least for Sauber.
