Budgets

With the recent rumors of Volkswagen having a 100,000 euro budget if they enter into the WRC, it got me wandering if anybody has any idea how much budget the other factory teams are bringing, as i always thought Citroen had a big budget as well.. Any body know what the budget is approx for Citroen, Ford and Mini?

Also may as well ask about the IRC Factory teams as well

Peugeot?
Skoda?
Proton?
Abarth?

I remeber hearing some time ago Citroen budget to run both official cars, Ogier and Raikkonnen was something like 34 million euros, but perhaps that has shortened abit with new cars this year.

Ken Rees from PSWRT in NZ 2010 said Citroen was around the 35 to 40 mark from memory. Ford were like 50 to 60% of that figure.

As long as VW doesn't end up like the Toyota of F1, but I'm sure they'll engineer a good car

How much do Ford Motor Company actually put in? I thought most of the M-Sport budget was provided by AbuDhabi?

The first sponsorship of Abu Dhabi (which was unveiled in Finland and via webcast from Abu Dhabi), was about 30 million euros. (so about 15 per season).

I don't think so.

The biggest budget a factory team ever put (Subaru) has been about 60 million euros.
Is it true that 60 million for Prodrive? http://www.motorsportforums.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Here's often difficult to differentiate facts from opinions.

I remember when I watched the ”engineering world rally” (think it was Subaru season 1995) that was presented on Discovery, they said the budget was 50 million euros.

Other one I remember thought its not a team budget, Juho Hänninen said that his budget for the PWRC season was 500.000 euros and that didn’t include the car.

I told "about" not exactly or more...

Awesome series, and pretty good view behind the curtains if you have followed Subaru at the time and know how it looked like from outside.
