!!!!! This is the most dancing I have ever seen her do. She's out of breath during some of the vocal parts but she still manages to sound fantastic. Brava! |

Here's an easier way to watch the video. And my GOD that choreography is just ridiculous! (In a good way). Probably the best dancing I've seen her do, the only complaint I have is I thought there was just a little too much playback. I'm just not used to it from her, but I completely get why it was necessary in some parts.

I thought the performance showed some of her strongest dancing yet and she looked great in that 90's pop star outfit. I do wish she sang a bit more of the song and that the backing track wasn't as loud at points, but it was necessary with some of that choreography and I'm sure Gaga and her team wanted the first performance of the song to go off without a hitch.

her choreography/dancing has improved tremendously since her early track-date performances supporting the fame (with those three back-up male dancers) from circa 2008-2009 (i think i have the dates right, i'm not 100% sure).
her lines look more elegant, and in my opinion, she's really using this medium to further express her songs in the music and lyrics. rather than just following some usual "1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8" section and consciously thinking about what step to do next (which is completely obvious in some performances), she's appearing more natural, and dare i say it, like she's had classical training. i really do respect her a lot in challenging herself with her dedication in including the dancing aspect as part of her overall performance (and it's not easy to both sing and dance WELL). |
