Jake, 18 wheeler: yes yes yes!!! That totally couldve/shouldve been a hit single.
As for Please don't leave me: one of the best bittersweet popsongs of recent years.

18 Wheeler and Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely) are my favorite Pink songs. Love, love, LOVE her. She's always entertaining, always down to earth. Can't wait for the new album.

re: 18 Wheeler, I'd love to have an unedited "explicit" version of that song one day. It's always been one my favorite songs to sing along to in the car. (I can't believe Missindaztood was released 11 years ago. That's the year I graduated high school!! #oldfuck )

I've always loved her song "Most Girls" from the first album when she was pop/rnb.

"Who Knew" is my favorite song of hers to sing along with.

I love Pink! I think she's an amazing singer, and the tour where she did all the aerial work was really really impressive.

"Who Knew" makes me cry (reminds me of someone), and I love "So What", "Get the Party Started", "Glitter in the Air", "Stupid Girls", etc etc etc. So many great songs from her.

Tried to give you rep over this, but I must spread it around first. This is the best song about an ex that I have ever heard.

A dead ex, specifically.

I thought the same thing, but then I wasn't sure if the song itself is more ambiguous, and the video was what left me with the impression of the ex being dead.

Pretty sure I read an interview with her in which she did admit it was about a friend who killed himself.

ETA: Jake beat me to it! But there was never any ambiguity for me.

Echoing the "18 Wheeler" love! Misunderstood (sorry, can't do the weird spelling) is really great, though my favorite album end-to-end of hers is Try This. If you haven't listened to "Humble Neighborhoods", get on the stick.

Yesss that is an amazing workout song. I think Try This was her best, artistically.

Try This was ballsy and (imo) as an album it almost worked but not quite got there. The singles of that one are fantastic, though!
As far as whole albums go, I think that Funhouse was her most consistent cohesive effort with little to no filler. (7 singles!!)
Tip: crank up It's all your fault during a workout

The one song that kind of ruins Funhouse for me is the title track. "and now it's full of evil clowns"??? Eesh. Bad Influence was also a little meh but I love the rest.

Well, I disagree with you on those two, but also have to say I LOVE "Boring" (the bonus track or b-side, whatver).

I used to find her kind of annoying, mostly because I felt her tough-girl persona felt like schtick to me. But like everyone else here, I adore "Who Knew," and she's had some good singles. I don't love her by any stretch, but it seems like she has grown. I also think it's pretty remarkable that she scores two giant hits off of a greatest hits album. Who manages that anymore?
