Anyone heard what Roisin has been up to lately, listening to Ruby Blue and still loving it!

Agreed! I think it's safe to say that it is one of the best dance/pop albums EVER! I got a bunch of my friends into it too. I've got a lot of memories attatched to it..

Just received an iTunes alert: there is a new 3 track EP out on 31st August!

It's called Simulation and has 2 other remixes. Yay!

Simulation is orgasmic... so good. Bumped it quite a bit over the weekend. It's very Donna Summer. I want more!

It's funny, I had never even heard her name before and I'm usually pretty good about at least knowing names even if not necessarily being very familiar with the music. But then I started seeing her music being used several times to accompany the dance routines choreographed for that So You Think You Can Dance show on Fox over the course of the last couple seasons. I could see once or twice maybe, but not a half dozen times. It's like she was on the same plane of cultural familiarity as Madonna, or even Bjork, given how often her music was being represented on the show. Heck, Roisin's music was probably featured more on that show than the likes of Madonna, Bjork, Gaga, Goldfrapp, Robyn, etc., combined!
