Seattle, WA (WiredPRNews.com) After reaching out to Tori Amos’ mixing engineer Marcel van Limbeek in London, Seattle singer/songwriter, Kate Borkowski, found herself literally staying at Tori Amos’ residence and recording additional vocals and piano (on Tori’s Bosendorfer) at Martian Engineering in Cornwall, England.

Kate masterly wrote all of the tracks on her debut album ‘Beautiful Little Fools’ and dedicates one of the tracks to Tori. ‘Siamroot’, an anagram of Tori Amos’ name, investigates the cyclical nature of a volatile relationship, and represents an almost Absinthian retreat from life into the landscape of Tori’s songs.

With her trademark coiled wild hair and unique, almost eerie vocal style, Kate has created what appears to be a brand new music genre and is generating strong interest within the music industry, both in the USA and internationally.

‘Beautiful Little Fools’ was recorded and engineered at Garey Shelton Productions in Seattle, WA and additional recording and mixing was done by Marcel van Limbeek, between London, UK and Martian Engineering (Cornwall, UK). The album was mastered with care by the legendary Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound in New York and includes an impressive list of well-known musicians such as Ben Smith (Heart); Keith Lowe (Fiona Apple); Mac Aladdin (Tori Amos); John Philip Shenale (Tori Amos); Rosemary Banks (Tori Amos); Garey Shelton (Tingstad and Rumbel) and John Morton.

What musician worth their salt would let Mac Aladdin play on their album? That's like making a delicious gorgonzola cheese dip and throwing a handful of Velveeta on it. And what the fuck is wrong with Tori? It's fine if he shits up her albums because they're married and all, right wrong or indifferent, but fuck's sake keep him AWAY from other musicians. Wow. Wow wow wow.

Holy cow, it finally happened. Apparently you can't record there without members of the Tori Amos Band playing on your record!

You can listen to WTF Siamroot here. It actually sounded alright up until, and I'm not kidding, that fucking Cack Aladdin showed up.

Also, the lyrics are either quite good or a total Tori fake-tracklist. Ha - she even quotes fucking Sweet the Sting. It's like those AATS parodies on youtube.

I just went to you tube. I hadn't seen them yet. Umm.. I can't understand a word they are saying. They sound like they have a severe speech impediment. I wouldn't mind a good laugh... I love parodies, but I can't make out a word they are saying.
