^ Upside Down, Sugar, Flying Dutchman, Here. In My Head, Take to the Sky - some of her most beautifully written songs EVER.

I used to tell people that Tori Amos's B-sides were better than many artists A-sides.

I don't even have most of her B-sides in HQ... only in 128-192k! :*(

I love all the LE b-sides (yes, even Mary!). Unfortunately, I can't make it.

It will take some digging through boxes of CD's for some of these songs - I wish A Piano would have had an extra disc of even more b-sides to make it more complete. But if I'm going to go to the trouble of finding certain songs I might as well dig everything out. It'll be annoying to have some songs LOUD and others not. Plus some songs like TTTS and Dutchman were altered IIRC...

Regardless I'll definitely try to make it. There's a certain charm to almost everything that was released on the singles in this era.

Has she EVER played Ode to the Banana King live? Besides in the early 90s?

^ She played it in Clearwater, 10/19/1996, at least. I love these songs - I'll try to make it. Love Banana King, Thoughts, and The Pool most of all

I would not at all be surprised if that's the last time she played it!

She played it in 1998 in West Lafayette. I used to love that performance. Came out of nowhere!
