I wasn't expecting to see Judge Judy make that much per year! Wow.

I've watched a couple of episodes of Two and a half man....it's really obscene that Charlie Sheen gets paid that much to be drunk in front of a camera.

It really blows my mind that Juliana Marguiles makes more per episode than Jon Hamm. The Good Wife is a very good show, but over Mad Men?! And from a financial standpoint, is it really that much more attractive to marketers?

CBS has more money than AMC, I would assume.

Is Sheen's show incredibly popular ratings-wise? That's the only reason I can think of that Mr. NoTalent there could be getting paid so much. He's getting what the cast of Friends used to get at the height of its popularity.

Two & Half Men, from what I can gather, is the new Friends in terms of ratings.

re: Margulies versus Hamm - significantly higher ratings and bigger network. She also has a bigger career behind her and likely comes with a heftier price tag off the bat.

^ I thought the same thing. But they also have Conan O'Brien still listed, and his show's been off the air for a while now, right? So maybe it's an older list. Also, with that many lead/recurring characters, I wonder how much HBO can really afford to dish out per episode? Maybe everyone is fairly low.

I think it's a current list, that 10 million is for Conan's upcoming show because it's titled, The Conan O'Brien show and not The Tonight Show.

That's insane for Nathan Fillion, who's in nearly every scene of Castle, and for Zachary Levi of Chuck, whose show is very action-intensive for him, especially compared to Jeffrey Donovan of Burn Notice, which is similar in what it asks from its stars.

While I can understand to a certain degree people finding Two and a Half Men funny, I don't understand how people can call it GOOD or that the acting is anything more than mediocre (other than the mother and the maid, that is.) And Charlie Sheen is too deplorable of a human being for me to be able to watch him and separate the two Charlies.

And how does Sheldon make so much less than Leonard and Penny? I wonder if that discrepancy and some of the weird salary things has to do more with percentages and back end deals.

Both of my parents love Two and a Half Men. I think that show is heinous. You can't find a more predictable sitcom.

David Caruso makes more than the other csi guys? He's the WORST (actor in the list). All he does is frown and fiddle with his sunglasses and he always does that speak-first-pause-make-eyecontact trick. Bleh.

2.5 men: the kid and the big housekeeper woman (Berta?) make me laugh, I can't help it, but Charlie Sheen is simply the worst aspect of the show. Imo it would be much better without him so it's strange to see he turns out to be the highest paid comedy actor of them all.

Also, no ranking for the Dexter cast?
