List of universities in the Dominican Republic - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Yes after he graduates from High School he has a choice of the above list of Universities. The two teacher program isn't worth a pinch of coon sh-t. There are of course many other professions that may interest him, afterall as you say he's only in grade 4. |

Nope!
In the DR: Pre-school (Preescolar): Pre-kinder and Kinder Elementary (Elementaria): 1st grade to 5th grade. Middle School (Intermedia): 6th to 8th grades. High School (Bachillerato): 9th to 12th grades. As for Bachillerato tecnico or Vocacional it depends on the program, as it can be from the 4 years of Bachiller to as many as 6 with a certificate issued at completion. |

I know it is early, my son is in Grade 4... Anything further than 12th grade is like him attending a technical of vocational school in the US linked to the HS years of study on the same program. |
