Hi:

I read in a Miami newspaper that Mariott has committed to building a new hotel in Haiti. My hats off to them for making the commitment and pledging the resources to get it done. The hotel is supposed to open in 2014. If you want detail google Miami Herald. It appeared in last Sunday's edition.

Pretty good thinking. The UN and NGO money on that side of the island will probably fill the hotel for a decade straight. And the feel good marketing message back home makes them look like good guys. Smart all around.
