Hi all,
I'm looking for a clinic who is able to perform a Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) for Kidney Stones on the south coast from La Romana to Santo Domingo.
Doe's anybody have some experiences with EWSL in the DR and can someone recommend a good clinic to perform it?

As well if you have bad experiences it would be helpful for me to avoid the same situation.

CEDIMAT,on the Plaza de Salud Hospital campus has such a machine,I installed it!

They are located in SD.

@OP : How do you know you have a kidney stone which is big enough that you need this treatment? Did you go to a specialist?
I ask because I am having a kidney stone traveling right now but from past history it will be a small one again (I think) that I have to pass naturally with the pain that comes with it and all other discomfort. However this one is not confirmed by a specialist, so if you know a specialist here, I would be grateful for the name and reference.

@Acira,
the size is not so important. Important is where the stone is located.

I had already several small stones destroid with ESWL, the size is never an issue, but this was done in Europe.
So I know I will get one soon usually after 3 to 4 years and I do not want to wait till it comes out.
