1. Your students are already on Facebook. All your students use Facebook daily to connect with their friends and family. Take advantage of the knowledge they already have of the application and their great interest in it to carry out group and collaboration activities.

If your students are under 14 years old and do not have a Facebook profile open, they can open an account with the written consent of their parents. Facebook, by default, establishes stricter security and privacy measures for accounts of people under the age of 18.

2. Facebook allows you to create a page for your class, being completely independent from your teacher profile, so you can separate the personal from the professional. You can add a profile photo that everyone can choose and a name that identifies the center, the course and your name as the person in charge.
