I like the way you said that.

Peace & Love!
Thank you, I think you just have to look at nature to see this.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster created the world. Why? Cause only a deity with a beer volcano would have made so many mistakes. Also, he left his image around for everyone to find. Noodles everywhere.

I do not believe in the Devil as the incarnation of evil, or that God is the absolute of goodness. We will find both in everyone of us.
I too believe that, the old adage "the devil made me do it" is a copout. You did it - own up to it.
I do believe that there is evil and evil people out there, just as there is good and good people out there.
As to who/what created the world/universe...I don't know. I only have a finite mind trying to understand an infinite concept. All I do know that who/what ever he/she/it is I am in awe of he/she/it and owe my gratitude to he/she/it for the creation.

Yeah, I can agree that we have a finite mind and this is an infinite concept. At the same time I stick with the thought that we are all pieces of it and that the piece of us that is infinite created the world.

Default "Who Created the World"
Is it possible that the devil created the world and tempted god to come over and he did and won? The devil might of made the world that can be changed for the better to see if good would come over. Hi Abstageation,

I have heard this theory before. I discounted it then and I shall discount it now.

I think it is not good for man to place a cause and reason on creation. Whenever we try to place a reason on creation we will create questions for which there simply are no answers.

I do not hold to the concept of "Devil".

I do not hold to the concept of "God".

That is to say I do not hold to the idea of an entity by either of those names as proposed by religion.

If God dwells in Heaven and Devil dwells in Hell, then I suggest to all that you merely need look inside yourself and you will find both Heaven and Hell and therefore you will find both God and Devil.

It is we who create and define both good and evil.

If we look to Nature we will find that there are no such distinctions.

Peace & Love!

Hello Abstageation,

I believe in a Supreme Reality that is the Beginning, Middle, and End of everything. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin called It the Divine Milieu. I do not believe in a Devil.

I may be wrong but I don't think Abstageation is listening. I suspect that this may be a Spam plug for the website.

I'm willing to be corrected, however.

I am indeed listening and it is interesting to hear that other people did hear this theory before. It just that alot of things such as eating other animals plus other stuff seems really weird.

I believe that the world was created by forces that we do not quite understand. Creative forces and people may call them Gods, Goddesses, spirits of creation or use scientific terminology.
The creative force - (made in God's image...?) is within us and within nature.
Re Devil or not - well, there may well be evil forces, or destructive forces or negative forces. However I believe that there are two polarities (2 devils?), one is very materialistic and one is spiritual to the extreme (I could give more detail as it includes selfishness, altruism etc.) and basically we are continuously pulled one way or the other. The right path is in the centre; in total balance. It is our task to try and create this balance. Very few mortals manage this. Some of the great leaders of humankind (Christ, Buddha, etc. etc.) have managed to get this balance.

Blessed be!

I think that we created the universe. I believe that we are all little pieces of infinity, and that we created the physical universe out of bordom. We are all playing a game that we agreed to forget the rules about.

I do not believe in the Devil as the incarnation of evil, or that God is the absolute of goodness. We will find both in everyone of us.
