I was reading a story about the TSA, themos bottles etc. and the comments were 3 pages. I don't know what made me read all 3 pages (never do) but this particular comment is very interesting. At first I thought, yeah some kid just made this crap up. Then I thought maybe somebody that has been in computers a long time might be able to shed some light. Here is his comment.

I think it’s time to tell this story as it has become relevant, at least to me.

Some 20+ years ago, I was involved in programming and testing of the “Renegade” bulletin board system (BBS). For those younger folks, this was “online” during pre-internet days. Our BBS allowed for integration with what was called a “front end mailer” that distributed email, message boards (then referred to as echo-mail), and files throughout a world wide network that is copied by the internet (on a much larger scale) to this day. As a hub for mail, message board, and file distribution through the northern part of Indiana, I saw many discussions about official ‘looking’ documentation that was being leaked and distributed through the echo mail system. One, in particular, that I never paid much attention to is unfolding before my very eyes. “Using the threat of terrorism to frighten the American public into collapsing the economy”. Once the economy collapses, chaos would ensue and the federal government would be able to broaden it’s powers to ensure “civility”. In turn, the civil unrest would cause “homegrown terrorism” to appear and INTERPOL, under the direction of the United Nations and at the request of the United States government, would be sent to help control this homegrown terrorism. Thus, the United Nations would gain power over the United States and do able to globalize America according to their own will.

At the time, approximately 1989-1991, the thought of this, actually occurring, was “fantasy”. However, I look around today and see the scenario playing out in front of my very eyes. US government officials are, actually, instigating civil unrest. These “leaders” are pitting poor American against wealthy American, white American against every other race of American, Christian Americans against Muslim American, Democrat American against Republican American; creating an environment of anger and mistrust among ALL Americans. In the meantime, as the US approaches bankruptcy and faces the REAL threat of social welfare programs collapsing, causing rioting, looting, and general lawlessness, the federal government is desperately seeking a radical group they can label as “homegrown terrorists”.

I don’t know if there are any other BBS operators or users who have seen this file floating around, but it would be nice to find to explain, from a historic aspect, what is happening in America to the typical person who would, like me, normally, blow this off as a conspiracy theory of sorts. Now THAT is damn interesting. If it wasn't to easy to believe....
