Yeah, heaven forbid that people try to carry on a normal life in their country. Normal life my ass! Nothing is normal about War. But to 'media inelectuals' like youirself, we are there just to destroy their 'normal' lives and rain on their picnics! Grow a brain,,,not a 'conspiracy, hidden magical, UFO, Nazi-fearing, underground alien bases', f'ed-up 'scientifical, imaginary, fantasy-land fairy-tale' brain like you operate with!! The day you take your small kids into a known kill-zone to help you pick up body parts & weapons of war,,,which I wouldn't put past you,,,you're using a thought pattern thats not 21st century analytical thinking, and more like the brutal tribal thinking of centuries past that our troops deal with on a daily basis. You're siding with a proven factor of anti-American MSM promoting our enemy over our own. txb&b is a heck of a lot brighter than you at reading an event according to all of these posts! It's funny how you display your arrogant self-importance in here by posting every day, forum wide, on every subject imaginable, with yoiur self-worshiping title of 'the Donald Trump of phone-bank centers', yet don't realize that people are watching you post hour after hour on company time while railing on those beneath you of being incompetent, or stupid!! It's quite laughable. You should look-up the syndrom, 'Schizo-typal", and gaze in awe of how close someone could come to describing at least 'some' of your problems! |

Maybe you should put your hatred for me on hold and use a little more common sense of their attitudes and tactics used since the start of this war! but, until you are, sharing your doctors diagnosis of yourself does little to lend credibility to your viewpoint. BTW, i don't often pick on type o's. But if you are going to make fun of someone for being an intellectual, you need to at least spell it right. This is the lack of credibility i am referring to. You come across as an ignorant, provincial villager. I am not saying that your viewpoint has no merit, only that you, as the face of the viewpoint, are ridiculously silly. I want to discuss things with grown ups....all i get is your scoffing at me for daring to think. That, alone, is enough to tell me that i can lower my expectations. |

LogiQ, i don't hate you. I don't like you very much, but it isn't hate. I can be polite to you, and interact in a civil manner with you. I am unsure you are capable of reciprocating. SSDD. ![]() P.S.- Nice dog you got in your sig. It bothers me though, because the right front leg is actually the only one taking a step--regardless of what you think you see! |

Here is a NYT article on the matter:
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/06/wo...aghdad.html?me there is liberal spin, but the facts are pretty clear. An unfortunate accident. |

what is your definition of a "provincial villager" and why illogiq one? don't provincial villagers often have a great deal of common sense as opposed to educational book learnin'? In my mind ... my grandfather was a "provincial villager" who had a wealth of intellectual acumen. "Provincial" refers to the countryside of France, if i am not mistaken. |

You are mistaken. There's a style of furniture called French Provincial, but the definition of provincial has nothing specifically to do with France. ![]() Yet, here it is....the definition i was looking for: http://www.answers.com/topic/provincial adj. 1. Of or relating to a province. 2. Of or characteristic of people from the provinces; not fashionable or sophisticated: "Well-educated professional women ... made me feel uncomfortably provincial" (J.R. Salamanca). 3. Limited in perspective; narrow and self-centered. n. 1. A native or inhabitant of the provinces. 2. A person who has provincial ideas or habits. Particularly number 3. ![]() ![]() "Countrified, narrow, limited in perspective, not sophisticated". |

I am thinking more like in "Beauty and the Beast", where (in their ignorance) they storm the castle to hate something just because it is different. but it does point out different people see words with different meanings. the folks what stormed the castle could more likely be described as ignorant ********. |

This is some interesting information that counters the notion that nobody in this group was armed:

This is some interesting information that counters the notion that nobody in this group was armed: The outrage i am seeing is misplaced. The point where i disagree with the actions is where the van gets shot. Up until that point it was the ugly act of war, unfortunately. i would still rather it not happen. |

Anti-Military propaganda. What credibility Wikileaks might have had is gone now. Their release was couched as Anti-Military..."“Collateral Murder” . People parsing the videos in slow motion and frame by frame...a luxury the Apache crews engaged in supporting US forces in direct contact meters away didn't have, can find little wrong with the actions as the group obviously has weapons including RPGs. Even Wikileaks, coming under strong criticism, is down to claiming the attack on the van was against ROE. A van that wasn't marked and the Apache crews had no way of knowing what it was doing. It's reminiscent of the Vietnam War where the American media tried to hang Air Force and Navy pilots engaged in combat over North Vietnam for supposedly breaking the idiotic ROEs that came down from Johnson-McNamara....rules like only being able to fire at SAM batteries that fired at them..not being able to suppress them before hand. Or not being able to go after supply convoys hauling the SAMs in open view. Or being able to hit rice paddy dikes because of supposed bad PR...and the NVA learning of this siting all their anti-aircraft weapons up on dikes. Any 'bad PR' for the military in this release is the intent and fault of Wikileaks.
