Default The Church of Oprah Exposed
Why did you post this in "The Conspiracy Forum".

BTW, this is common knowledge or at least it is to most women who watch or know this woman or follow Oprah. The women I know that know of this, disaprove of it but still watch her shows anyway.

Beats me, she is a very rich nut.

You can mark me off the list, I used to LOVE her up until she started using her money, fame and position to manipulate people to a false salvation and urging her fans to vote for Obama on her show.

I won't watch her anymore, ever.

I don't know her personally so I can't comment on that. She sounds alot like my mother and she is very christian, very religious, but just not that traditional, that scares some people.
Jim Jones was not traditional either.

I can't really tell who your directing your anger towards but I haven't seen anyone dis' your Mother? I'm a little confused there.

Anyway, I am still going to explain why I think Oprah is lost.

I very strongly believe that Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life and NO ONE comes to the Father but through Jesus Christ, there are numerous verses in the Bible telling you this very thing over and over .. Therefore, the way to Salvation is truly narrow, I never understood that verse until the last few years, I find it to be in complete disagreement with the Bible to tell people that they can go to heaven for just being "good" or "we all are god because we have god in us", that is VERY cult like, it's lies, and leads millions of people away from Christ. Very dangerous considering we are talking eternity.

Just my 2 cents and my humble beliefs.

I quit watching Oprah a few years ago. I never really thought about it much until Kmun posted this. Thinking back over it, at some point I came to believe that while she has done some wonderful things for many people, I just did not feel inspired by or connected to her. Unfairly, I sometimes lump all Hollywood people into a group and she began to be lumped in with the rest of the "nutjobs" that mistakenly thought they had value other than entertainment, that somehow I wanted to know what book they recommended or what political belief THEY thought I should have. I find what she says interesting, and Lord knows I don't have all the answers, so I will take what I want and leave the rest.
As for millions being condemned for not being Christian, I don't believe that will happen. I believe that we will answer for our actions based on what we knew, not on what we did not know. I also believe that our character, our actions, and how we treat our fellow man are what is important, both in this life and in eternity. There are just to many people of other religions that live their lives in what I would call a Godly manner for me to believe that being a Christian is the only way to salvation....and yes I know this goes against what the Bible says as far as I know.

I do not and have NEVER believed that every human being that has lived on this planet that is not a christian is doomed to hell.
I certainly don't either, only those whom have NOT had the opportunity to hear the word and choose to receive or reject it and those before Christ. In those cases they will be judged by whatever standards that God himself has set, not you or I.

I feel much of the way Rpat does in those instances.

Eh, it is her show and she has the right to have who she wants. By publicly imposing that she doesn't really want Gov. Palin on her show is really kind of being biased. She calls the shots on who she wants, however, she will probably lose a lot of viewers over this seeing how she has already used her show as a political platform when she had the senator on in the first place. I hope thatif she asked, Gov. Palin would decline.

I wont waste time trying to change the minds of the hopelessly wrong here. What I will do is tell you of our personal encounter with this filthy rich ego-maniac that thinks she is God.
Almost 20 years ago, in room 205 at Midland Memorial Hospital we had our 19 month old daughter in treatment for what turned out to be a futile attempt to save her life from ALL* (acute lymphocytic luekemia).
At the same time baby Jessica (fell down the well) was there. When Opra found out Jessica was there, she diverted her travel to come by and get some publicity shots of her holding baby Jessica. It was kept hush-hush so she could avoid the crowds of overbearing fans. After they got about 500 rolls of film of her cooing over Jessica, when they were leaving the nurses told her about my daughter and asked if she would visit her. She agreed (for appearance sake???) to go down the hall to our room. My wife and MIL were the only ones there at the moment (I was at work), and they gave permission for her to come in. She seemed amicable enough and sympathetic (as her photographers snapped away), but when asked by my wife if we could have a picture of her holding my daughter she adamtly refused. The reason given was that only her 'personnal' photographers were allowed to take her picture. (Yah,,real caring!) When she left, the photog told my wife that if she wrote and requested a photo of her holding our daughter they would send one. Hardly!! My wife sent 3 requests and never got one answer back.
Too bad I was working,,,I would have chunked her fat a_s out and threatened to sue if she used my daughters likeness for any sort of publicity!!
I didn't like her at the time, and pretty much despise her evil a_s now.
The age old story: 'Po' black woman makes more than King Solomons gold and then think they are a 'god'.
Just a twisted eletist egotist that spells doom for the retarded masses that choose to follow her.
True story. And I regret my wife ever let her lay hands on my precious daughter. I won't even get into the sorry shennanigans that Chip & Cissy pulled at that time! (but they were poor excuses for parents.)
