Ok, so there I was passed out on my couch from being up for almost 2 days. I do this on weekends. I just don’t sleep. I’m up all night stubmling or playing games. Anyway, where was I? OH! Doodlebops. Yeah, I was awaking from a benadryl induced sleep (I love ben, i get crazy dreams; CRAZY) and I am half awake. I can hear things around me, but not really move my body yet.

I hear stuff happening on the TV that sounds like a kids show. I lay there and listen for a while before having to see what this crap is. The Nano was in for a shock!

I looked up to see these 3 whacked out clowns and some crazy ass bus driver. They all jumped into this big ass hippie wagon (the bus) and sang a whack song about getting on the bus. The bus driver seems a little too “yeah, it’s cool man” to me. They sing, sit down and start driving. The odd thing is that they never drive on the road. They are all flying, under the water, in the desert, in space or some crazy place. They have a distorted idea of where they are and what they are doing. Why is this?




I have decided, after some chemically induced thought, that the song is symbolic for smoking weed. When they sing about getting on the bus, they are actually telling our kids to smoke it up. After everyone is on the bus (high) they go have a concert and sing other songs, all of which are related to drugs. Damn hippie clowns. Doodlebop yourselves right on into 6 figures for being on the Disney channel.

Get on the bus. Yeah. We’re gonna take a bus ride! Let’s get on the Bus, go everywhere. Come on inside. We’re gonna take a bus ride.

The most chilling thing is they have a live tour. They go town to town spreading their hippie agenda.

Lazytown is creepy too. I used to think they were calling that one guy...Spartacus!!!

Sort of reminds you of HR Puffinstuff and the other shows by Sid and Marty Kroft. Freaky man. I hated those shows. Stupidsville.

I just got some of HR Puffinstuff on DVD.....man, our shows were really whacked back then.
