They are mingling in our forum with an untimate plan to execute a hostile takeover!

Yes, I think you are correct Polly. One of them claims to be the most dangerous forumer to consevative thought. Pretty bold statement for a newbie.

Here is the actual quote:
See, I am actually more dangerous to the Conservative way of thinking here, then anyone else on this forum.

How do you kown it isn't I who is planning the takeover. I've toppled Boswell and taken his moderatorship. All in less than 6 months.

Bwaaahhaaa haa haa.

He's a very intelligent man... He's smarter than all us... We're all doomed

I'm sure there are some people though who register, post once or twice, and then don't come back for a while... and gradually become more addicted over time.

I know I have been off and on... When I started I posted a lot, then disappeared for a while and would pop in and say hello once in a blue moon, and then come back again and post thousands of posts in a week. I have a lot more free time with my new jobs which is why I'm on everyday now.

It has more to do with 18 years of Forum Experience than book smarts.

Besides, we all know I'm not the smartest...I mean look at how smart the Eurasian is and he hasn't read a single book, manual, law or research paper on any of his experimental subjects. OK, he's read one paragraph of the US Constitution, but still.

With all the moving of topics, the deletion of threads and the removal of certain high posting users.....I think parties known and unknown are laying the groundwork to lay waste to MOF in its current form so it may rise from it's digital ashes with the current phpBB code and a slimmed down footprint on the MRT server.

"They" are clearing the way for the ultimate re-boot.

Good thing we were planning on invading anyway. If MOF goes down we will have a place to regroup.

I'm just speculating, but whatever phpBB version MOF is running needs to be patched an updated. There are at least 1~5 bots daily signing up users with www links in their profile, but not a single post. You click on the www link and it is....welll ops: it's NSFW. I think this has been fixed in newer versions.

That being said, upgrading a Forum is messy business. Lots of people hurt, lots of posts lost, lots of bytes bitten, and all kind of conspiracies are born!

Lucidus should be very proud of me.

I make the off hand remark last Friday that it looks like MOF is heading for a shutdown/re-boot and it is all the rage and worry in multiple topics and forums (WTCC).

I've got as much proof/knowledge of the sys-admins wanting to do a reboot as I have of plans for a Rolls Royce Dealership and it has taken a pretty strong hold.

Heck, people who don't fear it are calling, nay begging for it.

For an old Forum hand this is just classic! Including the back-chanel chatting, though there are more places and ways to do it now.

As much as this drama pains or annoys some people, I kind of find it entertaining and nostalgic.

Carry on.

Indeed, I am very proud. That was awesome. I especially like that Slusher showed up as incognitomoto to fan the flames.

OH THE DRAMA!!!!!!!!!!

And thats exactly what he has done. I really want to know just how many ID's Slusher has, I bet it's more than we think :?

So... what you're saying is... we're all gonna virtually die and then reincarnate over 'there'?

What a conspiracy...
