The Council has introduced the new eligibility criteria, all India for technical education (AICTE), which increased the minimum marks obtained in the qualifying examination of the students of this school year, become eligible for technical degree courses has raised many issues between candidates and between the College governing bodies.The new rule may left up to 10000 for free 15000 seats to engineering in Karnataka.
According to the new standards within the General category of students across the country need to score at least 50 per cent in a test of standard XII examination instead of 45 percent. Last year, the statistics of reading nearly 10 000 students who make the tags between 40 percent and 50 percent in a test held in 2010, became the focus of engineering.
