London, Dec 27 (ANI): Britain has turned out to be the new terror capital of the West and whenever a major terrorist attack is attempted or takes place, suspicion automatically swings towards it, as it was in the case of the failed plot to blow an US airliner on Friday.

Fraser Nelson, Editor of The Spectator, said it comes as no surprise to learn that the Nigerian accused of blowing up the US airliner is said to have been living here.

"We have become the number one source of terrorism in the Western world. We shelter foreign jihadis, and even grow our own."

"For years now, Islamic extremists wanted on terror charges in their own country have taken sanctuary in Britain. Our judges (not our politicians) say it would be cruel to send them back to their own countries, in case they're tortured," News of the World quoted Nelson, as saying.

Years ago, the CIA had a name for it: "Londonistan". And Umar Abdul Mutallab may have been a part of it, he said.

As Britain focus on Afghanistan and Pakistan, al Qaeda starts to change its tactics, hoping to blindside the country.

"This is the risk we all live with. The war on terror, or should I say the terrorists' war on us, is still all too real. Abdul Mutallab may well have been a paid-up member of al Qaeda (with a short pension plan). Or just a wannabe," the report says. (ANI)

I'm not sure that our American Muslims or the Leftist terrorism supporters are any less of a threat than al Qaeda UK or even al Qaeda Yemen.

No, it's not insulting, it's based on undeniable facts.

What's insulting, though, is seeing American Muslims burning and trampling the American flag, and participating in numerous terrorist attacks and/or attempts. And most of all, seeing Muslims right here in Los Angeles call for throwing Jews into ovens. Now, that's insulting, andak.

You're 100% correct about Western governments' failure to deal with Neo-Nazis. It is a failure when our courts think that being a Nazi is a right that must to be protected by our government. It's outrageous, and we ought to rethink our concept of protected speech.

Luckily, though, at the moment the Nazis are much less dangerous on a national level than are the Muslim Jihadists and the enormous number of the general Muslim population which readily admits to supporting terrorism.

From my part, I would like to see much tougher laws to deal with Muslim extremists, as well as Right and Left wing extremists. It's not really an issue of fighting anti-Semitism, it's a matter of national survival.

Well certain KKK member D. Duke and other very notable Nazi-like characters are very friendly to those who hate Joos - which at this time happen to be in large part Muslim. They even get praised by certain leaders of predominantly Muslim states.

Of all 1 billion Muslims just "some"? There are hell of a lot more Jews who are defending Muslim rights.

That's true. And there are some that are assisting in some very unsavory Islamophobic incitement as well. A great deal of what goes on on both sides is political based on what's perceived to be best for Israel or what's perceived to be worst for Israel. Take all of the politics out of it and we are left with still problems of interfaith bigotry, but much reduced. Some idea of what the level would be like is to look at skinheads and Nazis around the world who don't have much of an Israel agenda. That in itself is a big problem, but if it were used by governments as a rallying cry, it'd be much worse.

We can't magically take the politics out of it, but we can begin to recognize what is rhetoric and political propaganda. That can be achieved through thoughtful, non-violent interaction. Blogs like this one, at their best, permit some of that. At their worst, they become centers of more incitement.

The ball is in Muslim court. There are billion of you and 15 million of us... and we are a lot more active in that field.
