Sorry about earlier Kevin just toooo tempting!!!
As A.H.V says it depends really on your tastes. Most of the English bars have turkey roast type lunches. If you like a more Spanish feel to Christmas Day, then D'Ricardos have a Christmas Day lunch that includes fish, meat etc. We were looking at their menu when we were there at the end of November. Unfortuntely I have to stay in England for Christmas, so enjoy your Lunch whatever you choose.... |

I think I must be getting more and more like Scrooge! There is no way I am paying up to 75/80 euros for not much more than I would get for 15/20 euros at any other time of the year.
Even a local Torrevieja Chinese is cashing in. Normal menu del dia 6,99 but on Christmas day 42,99. The difference seems to be a "free" glass of cava and a slightly better quality of wine. Which also means that when you ask for "another bottle please. miss" you will be served the 12 euro bottles and not the 3,99 bottles. Can see that being a dear lunch! Just my personal opinion and others will happily pay for somebody else doing all the work. Wherever you go - enjoy! |

Steve
agree with you, prices seem to have gone loopy. As for D'Riccardos, been there couple of times, good food but dreadful attitude to its customers. also while on this subject went to rincon (behind bowls club) this week, not impressed with food or the fact they cant heat it up (yes it was awful packaged food) robin... |

Agree with everyone about D'Riccardos. Last went in November. Never again quality of service nil, quality of food nearly zero, price of food higher than everywhere else. I think if everything matched the price it would be a good place to go but until I get any good reviews about it I will not be going back again.
