where's the new gym?
 

I heard an advert on the radio this evening (los 40 principales) about a new gym opening in Gran Alacant. It sounded well equipped, opening 7.30 to 23h.

I think they said Calle Corinth, Gran Alacant... anyone know where that is?

Maybe they should be advertising elsewhere????

I thought I read it was in the units across Vistabella, next to the between the coffeeshop and the optician.

Its in the units underneath the Vista Bella apartments. This is the next road down from Canarias. The road that runs from Mediterraneo to Escandinavia opposite Maxcoop. Building work appears to be at a well advanced stage.

Sheila, like me, is at the bottom of the hill, so "no problem". It's dowhill all the way from Maxcoop too. I must say that I've never understood why people pay to walk on a machine at the gym when you can do it in the fresh air for free.

I'm all in favour of a tram or funicular from the top of GA to the beach.
For me, walking up the hill to the gym and then back again would be all the exercise I would need and agree with Tony - walking and enjoying the free fresh air is all the exercise I want.

Been there with my husband, it's cool and people are very friendly! :-)

Its in the units underneath the Vista Bella apartments and the monthly fee is 40 or 45 euros/month, can't remember exactly..... it includes a wide range of services etc...it's slightly cheaper than the one i always go to
