Let me start off by saying that THERE WILL BE NO FLAMING IN THIS THREAD! If you don't think it is moral to be homosexual, then contribute to the thread by stating reasons for your belief. Most people are okay with homosexuality, but I've recently ran into a lot of homophobic people, both online and in the real world, and it can get really ugly. Now, none of these people have told me why it's wrong and I'd like to know why. This isn't much of a debate, but this board is where this fits best.

Technically speaking people just think it's disgusting to see a pair of males or females in a relationship with the same gender because they think that it's unnatural for such an event to happen, but it's more or less a fear that they themselves might actually be homosexual and are just so far....I won't continue that sentence but basically it's just an irrational phobia that a lot of people have and sadly it can't be explained...
To quote...Ron White, "we're all gay, it's just an extent of how gay you are" |

Nothing is wrong. Who has the right to judge? Nobody.
It is the inability of human understanding. Humans typically tend to dislike matters that they do not know/understand, and adopt a fear of the unknown. When something is considered different, humans reject it. Just as animals do. First comes curiosity, then judgment. This is indeed true for only a small minority. Humans today are more accepting of homosexuality. They have developed an understanding and actually become less primitive. Those who do not accept homosexuality would probably be perceived as primitive and, like me, closed-minded nowadays. This is not a matter that is for fighting. It is a matter of understanding. |
