Default Oh no!!! Not Mitch Miller
Well, there goes the bouncing ball. Now I have no one to sing along with.

Oh well, I guess at 99 years old there was'nt much bounce left in the balls anyway...........

Hi Dusty! I still stop by here a couple of times a month but there doesn't seem to be much going on. None of the chat forums are as popular or active as they were a few years ago.

You still living in Santa Rosa and cruising the mountain highways in your Mini Cooper with the top down?

8000 miles in five years....... You drive your car a lot more than I drive our '68 Dodge Charger. The Charger only comes out of the garage on sunny days and then it's usually on it's way to a car show.

I drive my '96 Dodge Ram pickup about 7300 miles per year.

Hey you two glad you stop by mod. I don't come as much either. FB has taken over everything I guess.

Wow 99 is a good long life. I still keep up with Kirk Douglas on My Space as he writes blogs. I think he's 93 now.

Facebook

Congratulations. I retired early in 2008 when the business I was working for closed after 40 years.

Ahhhhhh!!! Facebook. I have a facebook account but I couldn't figure out how to use it so I only log in about every two months.

Whoa!!! I guess I should check my facebook account more often. I just went there and found pictures of an old friend that I haven't seen since 1967. I talk to him on the phone 4 or 5 times a year but I never would have recognized him on the street........

I never did work at a place where I had to worry about them going out of business. I've worked for County Govt. for the past 23 years and will receive a retirement check equal to 60% of my current pay. When I add social security to that I will be bringing home about $100.00 a month more than what I bring home working full time. Two months ago the County started furloughs for all employees which reduced my pay by more than $500.00 per month, so (at least for the next 2 years) I'll be bringing home about $600.00 per month more after retirement than what I would bring home working full time. My boss wants me to come back on contract (not a County employee) at $30.00 an hour working three hours per day 3 days a week. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it because that $270.00 per week will be my racing stash.

Where do I find the link to my FB profile?

Like I said....... I only check in at FB every couple of months or so, and I really don't know how to use it. Hell, I don't even know how my friends and family found the link to my profile. Stuff just starts appearing on my FB page and I don't know how it got there.

OMG we ruined MM topic.

When you get on FB then click on your name which takes you to your profile. The link at the top. They find you if they know your real name and you used it or if they know your email address, then they request to add you as friend and if you accept you will see whatever they do on FB. I'll message you mine.
