BTW, does anyone really think Obama deserved the Nobel Peace Prize?
Like I said in the thread directly about this question - I do not think Obama has done anything to have deserved the Nobel Peace Prize.

I feel this thread would be better if you'd used four **** instead of five *****. I would've wondered if you meant **** or **** or ****. Or some other **** I hadn't yet learned.

Drake, if you're gonna call people dumb you better bring more than that, considering all the dumb things you've said.

Boxer: Cover Viagra? Then cover abortion

If healthcare reform covers Viagra, it should cover abortion services, Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) said yesterday.

Boxer suggested there was a double standard underlying proposals to restrict abortion coverage. Under those amendments, women would have to buy separate policies, known as "riders," if they wanted insurance for abortions.

"The men who have brought us this don't single out a procedure that's used by a man, or a drug that is used by a man, that involves his reproductive health care and say they have to get a special rider," Boxer said on the Senate floor.

"There's nothing in this amendment that says if a man some days wants to buy Viagra, for example, that his pharmaceutical coverage cannot cover it, that he has to buy a rider. I wouldn't support that," she said.

Barbara Boxer: Healthcare reform opponents at town halls are too well-dressed to be for real. Also, conservatives should respect me because Reagan was also from California.
Reagan was from Ind., he just live in Calif. for 40+years.
B. Boxer is not from Calif. either. She is from the East Coast.

Mickey Kaus to challenge Boxer!

Pioneering political blogger Mickey Kaus took out papers to run for U.S. Senate in California, he told LA Weekly. The Venice resident said he'll run this year against Barbara Boxer for her seat. He said he took out papers at the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters.

The Democrat has been centrist and even conservative on some of the issues on which Boxer has taken a more left-leaning stand, including immigration: He does not favor amnesty and favors a more restrictive national policy.

The journalist's Wiki entry says he's also "skeptical of affirmative action, labor unions (particularly automotive workers' unions and teachers' unions), and gerrymandering of congressional districts."

It's not clear where he'll get the money to run against such a well-oiled machine as Boxer's. But one blogger called Boxer's poll numbers "less than intimidating."

And in his Kausfiles blog, Kaus has quite the widely-read bully pulpit, with an estimated readership of as many as 30,000 people daily.

No offense, but if you don't think a former governor or current Senator of California count as Californians, you're a retard.

First I would never call you name, got it. Second you can live in another state, but you are not from there Got it. If you would have said that to my face, you just might not have said it. BTW I will be 66 later this month, so I do not play little games.

Bullshit. If you live in another state for a long time and claim to be from there, then you're from there no matter what some old tard may think.

Supposedly Boxer has started every election since her first election way back when with below 50% approval but that she has such a good get out the vote machine she wins every time.

Dead heat in the California Senate race. Doesn't look good for Boxer. I don't like Fiorina and thought that she did her best to run HP into the ground, but if even Fiorina is doing so well against Boxer, then this could be a long, long campaign season for the Dems nationwide.
