Seems to me cowboy hats in Texas seem to give them a sense of impunity. They can steal from the Mexicans all they want and nobody stops them.

There seems to be lots of space in Texas.

I'm hard pressed to think of any area of Texas that can't be carpetbombed and re-settled by Mexican immigrants.
