Yes, you can thank the moderation's blatant aiding and abetting for that, but a dozen-ish people were on the thread for a while and at the time it was shipped off to Mingapulco, it still sounded like I was serious. Just clearing the air since there's no place else to do it.

Short version: (1) Felch made an OP bragging about how a judge let him off easy and he's going to celebrate by smoking some weed, (2) I posted that I'd reported his post to the two police agencies with jurisdiction over his hometown and explained why the details in his post and OP would be more than enough for them to accumulate probable cause and locate him within minutes, (3) HC said he hoped I was serious, (4) KH opined that either I was a douche if I was serious or HC was a douche for hoping I was serious (I don't recall which offhand), (5) I posted the "proof" in the form of pics showing the actual anonymous tip forms with a surprising amount of detail derived solely from Felch's own post and freely available court records it referenced (see 1, 2, 3), (6) HC applauded the ratting and he and I bantered back and forth a bit on the legalities, (7) NYE opined that HC and I were douches, (8) *someone* deleted the entire thread, (9) Felch PM'ed me expressing his... "concern" (I'm assuming it's impolite to post PM's, correct me if I'm wrong here), (10) Lori PM'ed me for an explanation, and (11) Lori refused my request that he reinstate the thread so I could explain there that it was a joke. So here I am.

He said he was caught driving on a suspended license for the 6th time and only got a 45-day "suspended sentence" which he understood to mean he was off scot-free so long as he wouldn't violate the law for a probationary period of 45 days. The natural reaction was of course to violate probation on the first day.

That OP made it possible to pull up http://casesearch.courts.state.md.us...tailLoc=DSTRAF literally inside 20 seconds, which opened the door to various other details for the photoshop. Evidently he was also going 46 in a 30 and failed to present registration in the same incident as the suspended driving... tsk tsk tsk

Neither drug needs to cause serious damage, but alcohol will damage your liver in any quantity - to some extent. So it's worse even by your evauation.
