The whole Stargate universe is just awful.

I don't see how this could be any better than the prior ones, all of which were unadulterated crap.
I'm the opposite - I'm a fan of both, Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis.

I like the movie and the original TV show, at least until the last few season. Atlantis was a different type of program, and I liked it as well. Universe is also very different, and so far, not very good. They don't seem to have a clue on where to take it, and none of the characters are very likeable. Again, sometimes I just wish the ship would explode and everybody would die

right cus the movie wasnt cheesie at all. if people liked the movie for its realism they are retarded so my point stands.
Dude, "realistic" and "cheesie" aren't necessarily mutually exclusive, and they're also not the only qualities a production can have.

Lets say you take "Batman", "Batman Begins", and the 1967 Batman TV show. Stargate the Movie was Batman. Stargate SG-1 was the TV show. Neither of them are Batman Begins, but the movie was nowhere near the TV show.

are you tring to say that stargate the movie was good? if iam reading you right your trying to compare it to a jack nicholson movie.
No, you're actually not reading me right. I'm sure its an honest mistake.

jeeze i just reliased iam trying to make sense to someone that says stargate the movie is good. what is wrong whit you? Oh, I'm sorry, apparently I wasn't reading you right. I usually prefer to argue with people who can spell and use the "space" key. Honest mistake.

Kurt Russell is a criminally underrated actor.

Gosh, he has so many good moves, I wouldn't be able to choose just one... What could you possibly put above Escape from New York?

EDIT: Oh yeah, The Thing would probably top it. Depending on my mood.
