Yeah i got a email from Claymath yesterday telling me Mr. Perelman submitted his proposed solution 1 hour before they got mine,.. i wish

Crazy world we live in... where the smart need not be (nor want to be) rewarded, yet the dumb seem to be able to rake it in just fine anyway.

Cubase touched on the issue - Perelman doesn't really want the money nor the prize; it would seem that he couldn't care any less about the politics and ethics of modern mathematics.

They didn't respond. I guess that doesn't work in math or science.
