10 to 20 more inches, says the National Weather Service. Supposed to be from mid-afternoon Tuesday through Wednesday.

Looks like the plows came while I was out doing some errands.

Looks like I have to dig out the drive way for the third time.

The office is going to be open tomorrow. Strikes me as a nightmare. The roads are going to turn to glass overnight as they refreeze. And then it's going to start snowing/icing again about noon.
Any word on whether the above ground metro stations are opening up again?

Personally, I could do that. But my boss is without power and internet, for instance. So you can't make a blanket policy. Besides, many have jobs that can't be done remotely.

Now the National Weather Service is saying 10" to 20" of additional snow downtown for tomorrow and Wednesday.

Some of the more progressive places figured it out long ago. Hell, we don't even get snow here except a light dusting once every 20 years or so yet 90% of our utility lines are underground. Why can't you east coasters catch up?

San Diego more progressive than DC?

I can't help but think that the last snowstorm, and the next one that will be hitting the east coast, along with the unusually severe winter weather in the south, are the next disasters that I referred to in my preemption apology thread.

In light of this, I hope people have accepted my apology on behalf of gay people for the snowstorms.

Well, we have underground utility lines anyway. I'm not sure why an area which periodically gets a lot of snow wouldn't. They're probably just cheap bastards.

We were supposed to get another 6" or so overnight, but no sign of it so far.

Well, Columbus is no Michigan. That's for sure. Everything South of I-70 doesn't really get that much snow during the winter.

This may be the funniest line you have posted, MrFun.

Well done.

About time.
