I've thought about it. It's an expensive hobby. I might just take up skydiving or hang-gliding instead.

I'm in the same boat. I've always loved it and follow it actively as close as a non-pilot can. Even have the Flight Sim games.

Just don't have the time or inclination to fly Cessnas, and don't wanna pay for it.

What possible benefit is there to flexing the wings after you've touched down?

It will scare the hell out of passengers who dunno anything about aviation

"OMG, the wings nearly broke off!"

It really looks like a nice plane. It's a shame that it is two years late because of management failures.

Still better than the Airbus A400M, which will need a shitload more orders than currently on the table to break even.
