I was moderately serious about the Civ III List.

I was slightly serious about the MOO3 forum before the art department fired the programming department.

What a stupid thread. Apolyton doesn't need stronger moderation. Content possibly, I don't care anymore as it's been years since I played Civ.

If people find the forum annoying they can stop posting or use the ignore function.

I still occasionally post in the SMAC or Civ4 MP (I played in the diplo games) section. And every now and then there is an OP thread I take seriusly.

Maybe things will turn for the better once Civ5 comes out? If it does... dunno. I'd probably miss poly if it went under, even if its a shell of its former self.

I'm not saying anything happened that requires moderation. I just have this bad feeling that mods simply don't care any more. The every watchful eye of JM or whoever the mod is seems too forgiving. I have a feeling that nothing short of porn will cause moderation.

After years of Mingapulco, liberty seems a bit scary and too close to anarchy.

I think Poly is just in that down part of the cycle between major civ releases.

I think we need stronger moderation, or at least someone should ban me since I'm getting pretty annoying, if the forum is to survive. Never mind the moderation on second thought... the site desperately needs content and many of the topic forums are ghost towns.

If we start banning people for being annoying, this place would be very quiet very fast

My work filter doesn't even take Poly seriously. Counterglow gets blocked for being a "gaming website" but Poly isn't about gaming, apparently.
