It's a good thing gay people can't breed

I think we should tax unhealthy lifestyles that pose a greater burden on the health care system. We already tax smoking, so we should tax boozing, driving too fast, eating foods unapproved by democrats, buttsecks, fatties, people who fly in big airplanes across the country, humvees, and the military.

That way we can spread misery around to everyone equally, rather than having the healthy able bodied people paying for everyone else.

Where is the problem if those healthy able bodied people have enough money to pay for it whereas the poor bums don't?

You take care of your old grandma struggling to make the best of her last years right? You take care of veterans right? You take care of old people right?

Now why not the poor?

Opened the thread expecting an unfunny unenlightening pseudo-ironic rant, and was not disappointed.

Why's it called homophobia if it's hate rather than fear? Please give an answer that does not have any yoda-isms

In effect you're saying the poor haven't earned to live.
This is just the kind of retardation I've come to expect from you. Always happy to hear that from you

That's the status quo now. The only difference is life prolonging treatment is being withheld to more people, younger people now who cannot afford insurance.
You idiot. No one is withholding anything. The market sets prices. What you want is the government to withhold things. You want the government in charge of everything. You are out of your mind, thinking the government is efficient. Would you want the government running your phone book company while you promote the hookup culture? Even Obama, who still has not produced evidence that he is not Rwandan, admitted the Post Office has problems while UPS gets it done.

I don't like many possibilities. I don't like that life prolonging treatment could be withheld.

"You're old. You don't fear death, since you believe in religion. NEXT!".
(a) There is no plan to withhold life-sustaining treatment. Rumors to the contrary are just right-wing fear mongering.

(b) Life-sustaining treatment is being withheld now, either because the patient is too poor to pay for the treatment, or because the insurance company is to evil to pay for it.

How many times do you have to have sex with a woman before you aren't considered gay?

Of course there will be rationing under the public option, just as there is now. Its simply a question of what group the rationing mostly effects. Ezekiel Emanuel has clearly stated his belief in rationing based on age and he has the Presidents ear. Every social medical sytem that I have encountered (Britain, Canada, and Sweden) has rationing, and necessarily so. Resources are limited, we cannot provide all things to everyone. My main beef with Emanuels version is the weighting of importance based on age since it's too simplistic. For example, given limited resources wouldnt we rather save an elderly Albert Einstein than some 20 year old crackhead.

While I'm not normally in favour of government efficiency, it is a fact that Canada's health care system is FAR more efficient than the American one. There are studies out on the cost of treatment, and the US system is ridiculously overpriced compared to every other country.

And yes, people are being prevented from getting treatment in your country. They either don't have insurance or they have an HMO that prioritizes their own profit over your health (eg, all of them) which denies treatment as often as possible.

Hello there! I see you are discussing health care reform.

Felch would probably fly the health care bill into the WTC just to prove it. I think that in any place and experience the many causes of this problem, because prices may be experiencing a call. Per the constantly trolling CBO, Maureen Dowd's cost of living has increased. No cap and trade, not laffer curve, the cost of improving the quality of service will pay zero.

You can read more about this in Glenn Beck's latest book. Government will continue to plan long-term insurance, death panels does not need. Drug and insurance, not elected the surgery will not find the cost of monitoring a swollen, throbbing wide range of government behavior uniquely protecting the bridge at Chappaquiddick. If people pick their own pockets to get a market share less than the price you should consider the competition in the market and price incentives for providers to optimize race baiting. Encourage this disappeared from the market in three taxpayers fraud.

Cost management discipline. Now. See how many bids, but you can send their views on one of the largest government in Washington is more expensive. American people more energy, prices of clothing and spare parts, repair and discipline is the best place to make decisions about pricing in your hand. Actual provide health insurance and most have never heard arguments both. This is the new world order. 9-11 changed everything.
