Default Mass. postal worker admits to stealing 30,000 DVDs
Holy crap, I originally come from Springfield, MA and my father just retired from the post office, he worked there for almost 30 years. I had to make sure he wasn't the one responsible.

Edit: I forgot to add, theft in the postal service is a huge problem. I remember my father telling me years ago about how many employees were caught on camera taking money out of cards and such.

Netflix is one of those companies that knows their whole business model will be gone in 6 years. I love watching companies with gay names die and they are dying.

Heck yes. And while we’re at it, let’s hope a lot of people end up unemployed. God, I’d love that too.

Hmmm... so what should we believe in? 30,000 DVD's or "As many as 100 movies a week" ?

He was there for a bit more than a year, so let's make it 56 weeks
30,000 DVDs / 56 weeks = 535 DVDs/week
535 is a bit more than the "As many as 100 movies a week"

And how does one manage to steal even 100 dvds per week? On average 20 dvds per day... 20 dvds takes a lot of space in a backpack. Also did he manage to throw the package away or did he take it with him aswell? If he threw it away that would be a lot of extra trash (how can that much extra trash get unnoticed? Not only would he need a big enough trashcan, he would also need to spend a lot of time unpacking at work) and if he took the package home as well, he would need an even bigger backpack (or throw them into his car, that would be many walks to the car every day)

Sure sounds like he never actually got any work done as he would have spent most of his time stealing

You tend to get all sorts. We had a guy terminated last week for throwing batches of print advertisements in a dumpster, prints that he was supposed to deliver.
Damn. I wish he was my mail carrier.

I should add that this is a centralised scheme agreed to by consumers', advertisers' and distributors' councils. Works like a charm.
