I've always readily admitted that I don't represent anyone but myself. I've always said, don't hold Texans or Christians to account over me. So, nice try. Condemn me only.

Where did I say you represent anyone but yourself? What I'm saying you can't call yourself a Christian when you reject some of its most fundamental parts, like mercy, loving thy brother, turning the other cheek.

Course, the sad truth is, you do represent an awful lot of right wing Christians in that regard.

instead of teaching peace of mind in any situation, and a figure to emulate (like the Buddha) instead of one to cower in fear of.
:
Bravo you discovered Buddhism.

Now the next time you read the gospel, read it like it was the first time you opened the book and you'll stop showing your ignorance about Christianity. Or if you are unable to do that (which I could understand, since the massive general stupidity said on christianity), read the life of the christian mystics and saints, and you'll see that in a way, Buddhism and Christianism in their ascetic goal, are much more alike.

Edit: I'm pretty sure you're just trolling. And you got me. You're new buddist persona is just a virtual persona in order to troll! It's a really good idea

What would you know? You don't follow the teaching of Christ.
