That is really strange, I kept looking at it expecting to finally be able to easily see that it really is the same size, but it didn't, even though it is...

Simple, but effective, optical illusion - we see it as a 'three dimensional' object as that's how it's drawn but it's actually a flat object and our brain ads the distortion due to perspective.

I changed my resolution and it was still the same size.
