Default youtube capin audio?
So I went on to some favorite videos of mine on you tube only to find out that the music industry had shut down the audio....so all I saw was a soundless video...

I thought to myself...hmmm what could the RIAA possibly save by taking away the audio.
then it hit me....wow if they wanna control what we see n hear on YT then I should result to making my own sound tracks....

all in all I think that this move is another shot in their own foot by the RIAA...
I think this will only promote MORE torrent dloads of music and videos.

If I were an artist and I sw 10000000 ppl seeing my video I sure as f#$k wouldn't want my idiot agent stopping ppl from liking it and eventually buying it....yea sure...60% of them wont buy it but how much $$ does it take to produce an album? If ya sell 10000 copies uve already turned a profit....and that's high balling it

anyways...the riaa is a greedy entity who doesn't realize that their economy lies on us....

wow that's a cool song...I bet the artist has even more songs....lemme check it out..

altho all retail stores are turning their backs on cd sales...then let the new generation begin.....

itunes is a great venue, but its more focused on Ipod sales than the real music, so whats the music industry to do?? They cant make the CD sales more expensive cause that will only drive more ppl to buy per songs they like and that's what iTunes n others like it like ppl do instead of per album, like back in the Poison days....Altho this can result in artist making better music instead of relying on the 1 or 2 hits they needed to sell a cd.....Gawd I hate corporations.....

In the past most of us 30 yr olds bought an album due to the fact that we liked a hit song on the radio..well nowadays its different, we hear a cool song and we immediately drive ourselves onto google to find out what their entire album has in store.

So here comes the YT testing/Itunes song per song buy ins....wow this song rox, but FFS the rest of the album blows!!!!

Why should I spend 16 bux on one or maybe two songs that I "MAY" enjoy for a month? when I can buy JUST that song I liked for 99 cents?? Or if Im savvy enuff, I can find a means to dload it illegally for free??? wow what beats free??

I dont believe that dloading albums or song for free is the answer cause if everyone did it, well no artists with real talent would do it, and if someone that has real talent at music, they should be compensated!!

The internet has opened an incredible amount of information for the average Joe. I mean besides the Discovery channel, how was I supposed to know that Indiana Jones almost really existed (inside joke)!!

Do I buy music legally?? Well my response would be, "The last real cd I bought was Tesla, five man acoustic jam" The rest of my collection was ripped from cds Ive collected from the early 90's and other cds friends have let me borrow to rip thu-out the yrs.

All in all the last time I bought a cd for what its worth was back in the GNR days, I think Skid row's Sub Human Race was my last real purchase " Which I really enjoyed" but that was in '95...OMG WTF now its the info age..wow Skid row?? really??

Now Im turin 30 and what seemed cool to me is not cool to my 18-23 yr old Fight Night round 3 friends...while I beat their asses with JONES JR, they introduce a torrent of new metal underground artists whom I actually enjoy...Im like....wow this is better than Kurt in the 90;s...yes Im a metal head

Well this post has gone too far....So Ill let it die...
I would like ur input...please read B4 u post...

thnx all

I think the music industry needs to fight this way of thinking....sure we all like a certain amount of commercial music...but should that be out end ?? Have you thought about underground?? Whether u dload it, record it live it or just plain memorize it, those artists love it....why?? cause so far they are in it for the music and not the life style...

Once music and money intertwine...well the scene changes,

of course they cant rely on the retail of their sales....Wal-Mart n Best Buy compete on a daily basis to sell the lowest possible price on this type of media, so when the RIAA tires to make a buck per album, they get shut down by the masses, thus the lawsuits...which were made illegal by the govt as of last yr. I mean suing a 12 yr old or a 80 yr old for thousands upon thousands..cmon, who do u think the public will sympathize with??
